The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) has approved new eligibility requirements to take effect in 2016. Under these new requirements, the NMTCB will only accept applications for the entry level examination from graduates of programmatically accredited nuclear medicine technology educational programs beginning January 1, 2016.
The NMTCB currently recognizes two programmatic accreditation agencies, the
Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT), and
the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Click the links below

Today, the NMTCB recognizes Nuclear Medicine Programs accredited through the JRCNMT or one of the six regional accrediting bodies:
- Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
- North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
- New England Association of Schools and Colleges
- Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges
- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Western Association of Schools and Colleges
